For the first time in his four seasons with the organization, relief pitcher Ronald Belisario reported to spring training on time. In fact, the right-hander showed up to camp three weeks early.

Belisario, who missed 2011 while battling visa and legal issues in Venezuela, has already been seen at the Dodgers' spring training facility at Camelback Ranch in Glendale, Ariz., beginning workouts to prepare for the season.

Signed to a minor league contract prior to the 2009 season, Belisario showed up late to camp because of visa issues, but impressed the coaching staff well enough to earn a spot on the opening day roster.

Dodgers sign reliever Todd Coffey to 1-year deal (AP)
The Los Angeles Dodgers have agreed to terms with right-handed reliever Todd Coffey on a $1.3 million, one-year contract with a club option for 2013. The deal, announced Friday, will pay Coffey $1 million this season. The Dodgers hold a $2.5 million option for next season with a $300,000 buyout. Coffey was 5-1 with a 3.62 ERA in 69 games with Washington last season.

Dodgers ask court to disallow out Stow claim (AP)
The Los Angeles Dodgers asked a U.S. Bankruptcy Judge on Friday to disallow claims against the team filed by Bryan Stow, the San Francisco Giants fan nearly beaten to death outside Dodger Stadium last spring. Stow and his family sued the Dodgers in California state court, then filed the claim with the federal court in July, weeks after owner Frank McCourt put the team in bankruptcy.

Dodgers, White Sox to play spring game in Tucson (AP)
The Los Angeles Dodgers and Chicago White Sox will play a spring training game in Tucson, Ariz., on March 23 to benefit the Christina-Taylor Green Foundation. The game will be played at Kino Veterans Memorial Stadium with all proceeds going to the foundation named for the daughter of Dodgers scout John Green.

Dodgers' bidders invited to meetings in LA (AP)
Remaining bidders for the Dodgers are being invited to meetings with the team's management in Los Angeles. A person familiar with one of the group's plans said its meeting had been scheduled for next week and the group will have the opportunity to ask questions and further investigate finances as it prepares for the second round of bidding.

Dodgers' Loney will not face charges (AP)
Prosecutors say criminal charges will not be filed against Los Angeles Dodgers first baseman James Loney, who was arrested last year on suspicion of driving under the influence. City attorney's office spokesman Frank Mateljan said Wednesday that the office obtained a report from law enforcement and determined there was insufficient evidence to proceed with a case against Loney.
